Marian Edmiston is a Philadelphia and New York based actor. She began her acting journey following a successful career in nursing and education. Over the past five years she has worked on over 35 projects in television, film and commercial productions. Major credits include lead roles in A Crime to Remember on the Investigation Discovery channel, and Smile, a music video for alternative pop artist Jay Pray. She has created principal roles in additional ID channel series, independent feature length and short films, as well as student productions that have been screened and won awards at international and national film festivals. Marian received the Supporting Actress award for her voiceover characterization of the Dispatcher in the short film Porcupine at the 2017 First Run Film Festival in New York City.
In 2021, Marian wrote and produced her first short film. She collaborated with Philadelphia based director Joe Ronca on the screenplay, produced and starred in One Last Glance, a short narrative film based on true events and set in the holiday season.
